The Mitzva of Honoring Parents
Dealing with Anger and Nurturing Patience
Through a study of the wisdom and complexity of Jewish tradition with Rabbi Diamond, we will see how miztvot and Talmud Torah, Torah study, can help us lead meaningful lives and experience personal growth.
Torat Hayyim for students participating in the full weekend experience. Students will gather for shared meals and several learning sessions during the weekend. The seminar will begin late Friday afternoon and conclude on Sunday in the early afternoon.
Rabbi Eliezer Diamond, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Talmud and Rabbinics at the Jewish Theological Seminary where he taught for over 35 years. He was ordained at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University and received his doctorate in Talmud from JTS.
