Rabbi Steven Rubenstein
Steven Rubenstein has served as the Rabbi of Congregation Beth Ahm since 2005. Prior to coming to Beth Ahm, he served as the Associate Rabbi of Congregation Beth Shalom in Kansas City, Missouri. During his time in the Metro Detroit area, Rabbi Rubenstein has served as the President of the Michigan Region of the Rabbinical Assembly and has served as an officer of the Interfaith Health & Hope Coalition.

He graduated from The State University of New York in Binghamton with a degree in Political Science in 1992. He received an MA in Interdepartmental Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary and was ordained as a Rabbi by JTS in 2000. Rabbi Rubenstein and his wife Robin have two children, Ari and Tali. David Goodman – Executive Director
David possesses a strong combination of administrative skills and synagogue knowledge which guide him. He joined the congregation in 2010 after a career in the automotive industry.

David has spent his life in a Jewish environment. He was active as a child in his synagogue, held a leadership role in Young Judaea, and spent many years at Jewish summer camp. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Jewish Community Center, Chair of the Melton Adult Education Program, and was a member of Federation's Community Services Division planning committee.

Renee Fein - Programming and Engagement
Renee is a people person. With a vibrant personality and a passion for Judaism, she brings the Beth Ahm family together. Renee is plans events, assists volunteers, and focuses on connecting Beth Ahmers with each other and with enriching synagogue experiences. She can be contacted at rfein@cbahm.org.
Rachel Rosenthal - Programming and Engagement
Born and raised in Israel, Rachel (who uses the Hebrew pronunciation of her name) has always been drawn to developing and strengthening Jewish community everywhere she goes. Her journey has taken her to Minneapolis, Toronto, and in 2014 she settled in Michigan. Rachel’s work at Beth Ahm includes creating engaging programs and educational opportunities for our tots through young adults, with a focus on fostering a strong sense of community. She has lots of positive energy and stresses relationships and collaboration in her work. Professor Howard Lupovitch – Ba’al Tefillah
Whether on the bimah reading Torah or teaching, Howard is a familiar voice within the Congregation. He serves as the Congregation’s regular Torah reader and often helps with davening. A regular following of students enjoy his lecture series on Jewish history and contemporary topics. Howard is the Director of the Cohn-Haddow Center for Jewish Studies at Wayne State University.
Alison Blau – Office Coordinator
When you walk into the office, Alison is there to greet you. Since 2003, Alison has served as Beth Ahm’s office coordinator. She manages everything from tributes, to mailings, to special programs, and is a resource for anyone who needs help with a project. Alison has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University and enjoys spending her free time with her husband Ben and her cat. You can contact Alison at ablau@cbahm.org

Linda Wright – Staff Accountant
With a calculator in hand, Linda manages the Congregation’s finances. She is responsible for processing all of the Congregation’s financial transactions as well as financial reporting. Working with people is her greatest joy, whether it be speaking with members on the phone or seeing them in the building. In her free time, Linda likes travel and scrapbooking.
