Meredith Ann Shapiro will become Bat Mitzvah on December 1, 2018. Meredith’s parents, Evan and Sheri Shapiro, and her brother Daniel are so proud of her, as are her grandparents Joan Shapiro and Paul and Rena Gritt. She attends Hillel Day School and loves camp, swimming and performing in musical theatre, dance and stand up comedy. Her mitzvah projects include working with Children’s Hospital of Michigan to support the healing process for sick kids and their families and raising money for Debate It Forward, an education non-profit that promotes healthy discourse, self-confidence and critical thinking in youth through play-based programming.
