Join us for Shabbat lunch and learn with Jessica Katz, the 2019 Ralph I Goldman Fellow with the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC).She spent the year traveling to 12 different countries, learning and exploring global Jewish community and Jewish identity. Jessica visited places in Eastern Europe, Ukraine, India, Georgia, and Israel among others and spent nearly three months working with the Jewish community in Dubai, UAE.
A native Detroiter with a background in human resources, Jewish communal work, and coaching, this year allowed Jessica to gain insights on her own personal history, Jewish community worldwide, JDC and so much more. Check out Jessica's blog to read her stories www.jkatzconsulting.com/blog
Shabbat morning services begin at 9:30am. Everyone is welcome to join. Lunch will be at approximately 12:00pm and will be followed by Jessica's presentation.
