Jewish Tradition and Abortion
Monday, June 17, 2019 • 14 Sivan 5779
7:30 PM - 9:00 PM
With abortion policy in the news again, please join us to explore Jewish tradition’s understanding of the issue. We’ll explore questions such as:
• When does human life begin?
• What factors are important in a Jewish conversation about abortion?
• How does the role of choice differ in modern American culture from Jewish tradition?
Our learning will be Bet Midrash-style so come prepared to engage with the texts directly with a partner or small group. Texts provided in Hebrew and English.
