In this series, Professor Howard Lupovitch will look at three pivotal moments in Jewish history and ponder: If the outcome had gone a different way, how would things for Jews be different? While there is a quite a bit of speculation in answering this question, it is also a way to understand the impact of the events that did come to pass.
Session topics:
July 11: What if the 2nd Temple in Jerusalem had not been destroyed?
July 18: What if the Jews had not been expelled from Spain in 1492?
July 25: What if Herzl and the Zionists had accepted the Uganda Plan?
What if Arabs in Palestine had accepted the UN Partition?
