Hunger is real in Oakland County.  The Open Hands Food Pantry was started in a small closet to provide food for neighbors in need.  Today it serves over 11,000 people annually.

 

Canned soup is a staple in every kitchen and in need at the pantry.  The tikkun olam team invites you to donate canned soup by bringing it to the synagogue picnic on July 25 (click here for more info) or delivering it to the synagogue office.  All donations are needed by August 6.
