Small Shul, Big Family
Small Shul, Big Family
With a focus on youth and younger families, Congregation Beth Ahm offers programs throughout the year that connect families to other families while helping them enhance their Jewish identities.
Our family programming has a social emphasis yet is focused on Jewish rituals and holidays. Examples include:
Family Camp
This weekend getaway allows families to enjoy quality time together in a setting that combines the beauty of nature and the atmosphere of Shabbat.
Hanukkah Celebration
The memory of lighting the menorah with almost 300 other people is one that will last a lifetime. Our Hanukkah party includes menorah lighting, crafts and activities, and a latke experience you don’t want to miss.
Shabbat
Whether it be Shabbat dinner, Tot Shabbat with Rabbi Rubenstein, or mini-minyan for elementary school children, the Shabbat offerings throughout the year are a highlight of the week.

Religious School
Congregation Beth Ahm is also a leader in providing innovative religious school experiences. Children in kindergarten through 8th grade learn in a fun and interactive environment. Class meets Shabbat morning and for a 45 minute individual learning session during the week. During this session, students benefit from personal, experiential and hands-on learning. Best of all, you have the opportunity to:
- Learn as a family
- Select the topics your child(ren) will learn
- Select the day and time for your learning experience
