Formed in 1892, Congregation Beth Ahm was established to provide opportunities to explore and practice Judaism in a warm and approachable environment. We continue to fulfill this mission through our core values.

Conservative:  We believe in the value of weaving Jewish traditions and ritual with flexibility and modernism.

Egalitarian:  We believe in the value of equal opportunity and participation in
congregational life.

Learning:  We believe in the value of nurturing religious and spiritual growth through the exploration of Torah and Jewish thought.

Family:   We believe in the value of community within our multi-generational and
child-friendly congregation.

Warmth:  We believe in the value of promoting an inviting, caring and welcoming environment where we demonstrate compassion toward others through Derech Eretz, Tzedaka
and Tikkun Olam.

Please join us on Shabbat or at an upcoming event to experience the beauty of our synagogue community.  Or, contact us for more information:

    Volunteer Appreciation Shabbat

    Shabbat, Jun 1st 9:30a to 12:00p
Join us as we celebrate the many ways in which volunteerism enriches life at Beth Ahm and in the community. Whether you currently volunteer, have volunteered in the past, or are considering volunteering in the future, we hope you will join us for this meaningful celebration. Following Shabbat morning services, you are invited to a special kiddush lunch and discussion about the positive impact of volunteering. Volunteer Appreciation Shabbat is generously sponsored by the Amy Harvey Volunteer Appreciation Fund. If you would like to make a donation in honor of the congregation’s volunteers, or to help grow the Amy Harvey Volunteer Appreciation Fund, call the synagogue office at 248-851-6880.
